Installation fails on RAID 0

Asked by Guss4

Hi there,

could not install the 9.0.4 64-bit version on a SATA RAID 0 system. A ICH5R chipset of an old P4 960 CPU with 2 WD 36GB 10K Raptor disks. I got into a prompt and could not do anything, so I had to abort and install it onto an IDE disk instead.

Thought you might like to know.

Thanks

You may wish to research this and find a viable solution if you want to do RAID 0. I'd recommend just use JBOD instead.
