do i need to have licience for ubuntu server

i like to install the ubuntu server in an administration where do i get the licensed copy of ubuntu server .i like to run a server
so looking for a licensed copy ?

No such thing. You are free to use the server as you wish.

Yes, you cannot sell Ubuntu either (its not yours to sell) but you can sell support services based around it.

But basically, actionparsnip is correct: The license of Ubuntu is basically that you are free to use it at no cost, with no registration necessary. Hopefully you will become part of the community and contribute things like bug reports and perhaps enhancements or bug fixes, but nothing is required. It is an absolutely free product.
