Attaching a file in answers.launchpad

Asked by keepitsimpleengr

On occasion there is a need to provide information normally found in a file, i.e. xorg.conf or Xorg.0.log, when ansering questions.

The only way apparent to do this is to copy the entire file into a response, as opposed to attaching it.

This seems cumbersome and possibly a waste of resources.

Is there a way to attach that is not obvious or would it be possible to add such a capability?

OK, so it's a long standing bug, https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/77123 with 5 duplicates.

Hi :)

Adding a comment to the bug report might help and also clicking on the "This bug doesn't affect me" to change it to "This bug affects me too" might eventually help motivate someone to start developing this feature for answers. Your help in that way would be much appreciated because it really is quite painful sometimes.

Thanks, good luck and regards from
