Can't Accept License Aggreement

Asked by Nighteye

Just installed Ubuntu 7.04 , attempting to update Java 6. I have run sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin sun-java6-fonts, and now it shows me the DLJ and displays an OK at the bottom of the agreement. Which i can do nothing with? i have hit enter , scrolled through the agreement to the bottom and still hitting enter will not continue the update? Any Ideas?

hi nighteye. having done this just the other day its fresh in my mind...

as you've done that in the terminal, the DLJ appears in whit text on a blue background upon installing i believe

once this happens just press ur TAB key until the OK is highlighted and press ur return/enter key....if this doesnt work try your other enter key located on the numpad or try your mouse click

that should be enough however if you still have problems try installing the very same packages via System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager by searching and installing each in turn if they aren't already

follow the gui's on screen instructions

good look nighteye!
