creative zen mozaic player won't work

Asked by moridin2

I've tried to use amarok, gnomad (with sudo and/or gksu commands) i've tried dang near anything that's been posted on the forums. I can't seem to figure out how to change the player from mtp to usb mode. you name it I've tried it. I even tried wine and that didn't work. I'm running ubuntu 9.04. I've run out of ideas. the player doesn't show up as mounted but I do get it to charge. But that's it. I've got over 700 files on the thing and can't access them at all. I like ubuntu, I've gotten everything else to work. Hope somebody out there has an idea that I haven't tried. lol

lol I've monkeyed around with amarok to the point that now it crashes upon startup. If i could just get it to move the files to and from my pc I'd be happy. When I used it on windows it took a lil bit of playing around to get it to work. I swear I'll kick myself in the head if it's something ridiculously easy
