image display during boot

i have made the grub to display image during initial boot start up, but the image doesnt look good, its resolution is not good,(i think the pixel rate is 640*480)
is it possible to display a better resolution image? if so how?

Sorry, but it is not possible to change the resolution of GRUB.

Hi :)

It sound like you can do some interesting things with grub2 when 9.10 comes out in a month or so. Until then, the trick is to use a simple picture that does look good at that res ;)
