can't connect to internet via netzero

I have an ACER 512mb with Windows Vision installed. I have added 1 GB. Vista has been moved to 1/4 of the computer and the rest is left for Ubuntu and accessories. I am connected to the internet by NetZero. I can not connect Ubuntu to the network with NetZero. I am on a modem.

So you connect to internet with a dialup modem ?
