How to Install PAE on Ubuntu

Asked by swift240

Hi all using Ubuntu 9.04 with all update, I have 4 gig of DDR2 ram at 800mhz, but Ubuntu 9.04 only sees 3gig.
I understand there is something called PAE.
How do I find it and Install it to see the full 4gig?

The version of Ubuntu I use is 32bit, I did have a 64bit Ubuntu 9.04 and that seen my full 4gig of ram.

My system Athlon 4600+ dual core 64bit CPU
Nvidia Geforce 8400 PCI-E
4gig DDR2 ram at 800mhz.
mobo M2N68-AM
The reason I went from 64bit back to 32bit was that on this 32bit Ubuntu I can use my Brother DCP-145C printer with the 64bit I cant use it at all despite the drivers.

TIA,

Mike.
