Screen does not start during boot since last update

I have two desk top computers using Renoir [Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series] (rev c9) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
        Subsystem: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Renoir. Since last kernal update the screen stays black when turning the computers on. I have to start computer while holding shift key so that I can pick an earlier version to allow any of the four screens I use on the two computers.
