installed partion8 in win lost bootloader error 1529

installed partion 8 in windows last night didnt have time to make any changes. turn system on and system will not boot grug message error 1529 mismatch directories. System boots to boot loader or ubuntu first then windows.
ubuntu 9.04 window pro sp2 everything worked fine never hade any problems with duel boot or either system with drivers or programs. just when i installed partion 8 in windows. resuce disks for pat 8 dont work. cant make changes windows show active ubunt unactive

Do you have an Ubuntu Cd that you can boot up to a LiveCd session with?
