how do i get wireless back on my loptop?

i used to have wireless and now i dont the only way i can connect is directly, how do i get my wireless ability back?

Go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal and type:

lspci

Copy and paste the output here.

Yes,perform all these actions to view this "steve@ubuntu:~$" again(Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and then type after sign "$" :
lspci
Then Press enter.And then copy all information from terminal(will be many strings?and copy and paste here.

Looks like you have a Broadcom wireless card. I have one as well and found this site helped me get up and running again.
