.bin files

Hi, i am trying to install Xtuple (ERP) on my Kubuntu server without success. i already tried the normal commands but nothing works, does somebody knows how to install it.

Of course the file i downloaded from Xtuple web page is a .bin file

How I did it...

1) Open File manager. RIGHT click on the (diamond) download. Look at Properties. Make it Executable. Close File Manager.

2) Open Terminal. Input: gksudo [name of your File Manager - mine is pcmanfm].

3) That will open File Manager with Root/Superuserdo rights. Click on the (diamond) download and WAIT - it's a bit slow.

...it should begin to open and ask questions
