acer laptop 9410 compatibility

Great Hanusz...Thanks for the SPEEDY comeback...didnt expect it...I have downloaded the 7.04 desktop version and will choose "std personal computer"...I have a hp officejet 5610 all in one printer...I hope it works...if this download doesnt work I am screwed as my desktop is down!!!

Thank you for all your information....I downloaded the ubuntu to cd but still havent installed it on the system....I was just wandering if there will be an option to save all the Windows system internally in case I botch up the ubuntu install just in case I have to fall back and recover as this laptop is all I have...Larry <email address hidden>

Do you mean you want to dual boot ? (you then have an option at the beginning of the booting to choose to start Windows or Ubuntu)

Whatever you choose, It is a good idea to make a backup of all your important information on removable media (cd-r /dvd-r)
