Kubuntu installed on usb

Asked by Redneck

I have downloaded kubuntu i386 and installed it to the usb with usb start up disk creator.
When i reboot and get to the menus there are a few choices and thought it would boot right to it. here are my choices.
Try kubuntu with out any changes to computer
Install kubuntu
Test Memory
Boot from first hard disk

Now are any of these relevant to the usb that i have created. I have been through a few sites and followed the instructions. I am able to do the same thing with it on my laptop. I want to only run it from the usb. I dont know if maybe
I did not install it right or maybe i missed a step. But this is day two of trying to figure this out.
I have not had any errors. I am open to many ideas.

Thank you

It looks like you installed the installer on the USB stick. So that´s
why you get this menu. You should burn the downloaded ISO on CD and run
it from there. Then you can INSTALL it on your USB stick. I have one
too, but I hardly use it because it´s not so fast.

Is a bit of work, but who has something better to do on a early Monday.
