Installing Unbuntu on Pent III w/256 MB

I am trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 on a Pentium III w/ 256MB RAM (1.2Ghz processor). When I restart the computer with ISO file in the drive, the PC won't recognize the file and boot from it. I know the boot process works OK because I just reloaded Windows ME on the machine w/o any problems. Any advice?

I think you made a mistake with the ISO file. You should not burn the ISO file to disk. You must use a burn program and then choose, Burn ISO to disk.
