Can I use Firefox Environment Backup Extension to add my ff profile to Epiphany? Can or will Epiphany duplicate my ff profile?

By the way, how do other free or open source browsers stack up next to Firefox? Since I upgraded (?) to Jaunty 9.04, Firefox hasn't recovered, so to speak. Maybe it's a compatibility issue. I'm thinking of trying out some alternatives like Konquerer, or Wine IE. What does this community think?
