Install Postgresql on Libuntu 7.4 (or) 7.10

I tried to install postgresql package of any version(8.1,8.2, 8.3) on Libuntu 7.4 as well as 7.10 but i could not complete the installation as it shows, it could not fetch from archives 404 file not found error.

As i have used it from terminal command as well as package installer but i could not proceed with the installation.

Please let me know how to proceed?

Neither 7.04 nor 7.10 are supported any more... so the repositorys are closed also.
You will have to upgrade your Ubuntu to at least 8.04 LTS (and I strongly advise you to do so) to use the repos for updates and installs.
