Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#When%20not%20to%20file%20a%20bug.

Not to sound rude or anything - however why are many things being changed to questions and not bugs? In this setup (as I see it right now) they both seem to do the same thing. Solve problems, be it with the OS or this website itself. I mean Ubuntu has that forum area anyway, right?

The forum for questions I mean.

But this question here is a bug - and not just a question (I could not find how to ask a bug to Launchpad itself for the longest time until now - to be serious). And I am certain a lot of people here were the same.

This was a support request. You wanted to know how to do something.
That goes in the Answers sections. Bugs are when the program is
either doing something it shouldn't or is lacking a certain feature.
