Can I install ubuntu NR on this device ?

And what about supporting old hardware (drivers)?

You can install Ubuntu on any PC (even macs with ppc cpus). You will need to check the Ubuntu HCL for compatibility

Unfortunately, HPs web site does not give a great deal of info. Yes it has wireless but it does not tell you exaclty what chipset the wireless uses (Broadcom, Ralink, Intel....) so we cannot say.

NVidia is hugely supported in linux so yuo will have no issues there but there simply isnt enough information on the HP site

shows a guy with 100% working out of the box. I'd research round or even call HP. HP arent too shabby with Linux support.
