Is 9.10 going to look any better

Asked by dannyp32

I am new to linux and i really love the performance, but its only flaw is the looks. The operating system is great and i am really excited to try out the final version of ubuntu 9.10.
I have tested alpha 1, 2, and 3 but they all look the same... and it has been almost exactly the same for a couple of years.
Are the ubuntu developers going to enhance the way ubuntu looks?
the menu, and taskbars need a makeover!
i think that the main thing that will help ubuntu become more popular.

9.10 will probably look pretty much the same by default.

However, you can customise your ubuntu installations look by going to System->Preferences->Appearance
other Themes can be downloaded from gnome-look.org

or, you may wish to try Kubuntu, which uses an entirely different from end from Ubuntu

Can you help with this problem?
