could not able to download

whenever i try to download the package or upgrade through update manager,it give following error,as my Internet connection is working fine:

Please check contents of your /etc/hosts file. It seems like your system considers http://archive.ubuntu.com to be on 127.0.0.1 (i.e. your local computer). If you find something like
127.0.0.1 http://archive.ubuntu.com
or so drop it.
