horizontal scroll on dell 6400 touchpad

Asked by hormosapiens on 2007-06-08

dell inspiron 6400 kubuntu 704, kernel 2.6.20.16, kde 3.5.7, fglrx 8.37.6
after correctly install qsynaptics and adding at xorg.conf file (SHMconfig on) the horizontal scroll line in touch pad does not work.
what can I do?
I want to make it work as a back-forward option for firefox.

if I cant make it work as a back-forward button in firefox (like I had in ubuntu gnome 704) at least fix it as a normal horizontal scroll bar.
the vertical is working well, and all other buttons.

thank you
