Can you define "utility software" please.

Each CD contains packages that you can install. The CD can be used to install packages on systems which are offline. I can't think of what you could mean outside of this....

Yes it does. They are all on the CD. They are the latest versions when the ISO was created

Add the CD as a repo in synaptic and make sure the CD is in the tray.

You can then run:

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install vlc

etc

Compiz may be an issue if you need extra video drivers etc.

Hi biswas.partha1,

In Indonesia, we are using DVD Repo for distribution all over the Indonesian Ubuntero. With this DVD Repo, Ubuntero can install the softwares without internet access. Here are URLs that explain about that. I'm really sorry, it is on Indonesia language.
About DVD Repo:

Distributor that you can call if you want to buy DVD Repos:

e.g. while installing 9.04 you could have wiped the other two via partition manager (included on LiveCD) and give the space to 9.04. Or take a look at GParted.

Can you help with this problem?
