In applications menu go to accessories, terminal and type lspci and post output here

output is

bash: ispci: command not found

lspci

Not ispci. That´s not a vallid command

Ispci is also giving same error!

I only did help you with the command. For the original problem you just have to wait for someone to help you.

Looks like bug #329559, except that sound should work. How can you know that the sound is not working, if you just have a blank screen?
