eliminar una particion y extender la otra

tengo windowx xp y WIFISLAX,,,,,,PERO QUIERO FORMATEAR WIFISLAX ,,,,SIN QUE LE PASE ALGO A otro S,O,,,,Y QUE pueda,,,,,pueda accesar a windows,,,para instalar adentro ubuntu

alguna sugerencia

The first thing is to try a LiveCd session of Ubuntu - so, put the Ubuntu cd in the cd/dvd-drive and reboot the machine. It should take you to a menu saying "Try ubuntu without changes to this machine", if not here's a guide to help

choosing that default option to try Ubuntu should get you to a working desktop that we call a LiveCd session, if it works. This LiveCd session should have firefox on the top taskbar able to surf the internet into here.

Then go up to the top taskbar and click on

System - Administration - Partition Editor

right-click on the partition to delete it and then click on the "Apply" button

If anyone can add my 2 last posts together and translate into Spanish i think that might fix this problem!

Mm, retomando lo que escribió Tom, trraduciendo parte al español.

Lo que debes hacer es utilizar el un Live CD de cualquier distribución, en este caso sugiero Ubuntu, y al colocar el CD en la unidad, reinicia el equipo e ingresa a la opción (Probar Ubuntu sin realizar cambios en el sistema), es la primera opción.

Cuando la sesión haya iniciado, ve al menú Sistema -> Administración -> Editor de particiones

Busca la partición de wifislax que quieres borrar, y con el boton derecho encima, seleccionas "Eliminar" y luego presionas aplicar.

Ten en cuenta que sería mejor que reemplazaras de una vez la partición con la instaación de, por ejemplo, Ubuntu. Esto para que no tengas problemas de selección del Sistema Operativo.

lo q podes hacer tambien es como te sugirieron antes, iniciar con una distro live iniciar el editor de particiones (lo podes lograr iniciando el instalador y llegar hasta donde aplicas cambios de particion y reiniciando sin instalar) ahi borras la particion de slax y le decis q estire la particion de windows para q use todo el espacio. para lograr q win vuelva a iniciar, arrancas un cd de instalacion de windows y donde dice para reparar presione r le das r y te va a mandar a la recovery console, en la recovery console escribis fixmbr <enter> y de ahi fixboot<enter> de ahi reinicias y deberias arrancar a windows directamente...
