Can't use wierless on my laptop plzz help!!!!!!!

Ok it mini dell laptop it ubuntus linux plzz search how it look it a diferent laptop so if answer need to now how the syestam is ok I can connect to my wierless it hase it but wen I shute it down and the next day it did hade volume and Internet I go to system administration network and I em on network settings it has wired connection and point to point connection that all ther only 2 ther wer 3 one that was wireless but it not ther now I don't have wireless wat do I do plzz help I using my iPod touch plzz how do I add a new connections and my laptop dost not have a on and off swicg for wireless on my computer I don't now in my computer plzz help

Open a terminal, paste that line in and give use the output as an update

You will get some form of output. Even if there is no wireless device in your system.

press alt+f2
type: gnome-terminal
press enter
in the black box that appears type: lspci
(that is pronounced ELL ESS PEE SEE EYE)
Can you paste that as an update here
in the same black box can you please type: lsusb
(that is pronounced ELL ESS YOU ESS BEE)
Can you do the same again for the command: sudo iwconfig scan

I need this output to diagnose and resolve. You putting half sentancace is not going to get you anywhere.

can you please provide the output of:

lspci; lsusb; sudo iwconfig scan

I expect an update with data like the one I have given as an example.

i didnt say ispce, i said lspci. I even wrote how it is spoken so you can get the right commands.

try:

sudo iwlist scan

thats the right command. My bad.
