Need audio kodecs, but have no internet connection.

I have Ubuntu 9.04, & cannot play many of the audio/vedio files, on my disks (mpeg, mpeg2,3,4, wav...).
I've no internet connection. But can download a package using another computer and install. I previously used Ubuntu Ultra, which came with the kodec. Please help.

You can use another computer having ubuntu installed in it.

Install a package known as APTonCD in the computer with ubuntu and internet connection. Then install all required packages in that system and later you can make a complete package backup into a disk by forming a local repositary using APTonCD.
