Desktop effects

I started up Desktop Effects and selected both options for "Windows wobble when moved" and "Workspaces on a Cube"
These worked until I also tried out the 3D effects in "Restricted Drivers Manager" when the "Workspaces on a Cube" function ceased to work.
I have since disabled the 3D effects in "Restricted Drivers Manager", but the "Workspaces on a Cube" still does not work although the "Windows wobble when
moved" Effect still works.
Weird huh?

Hello Gulliver_XC,

it is possible that the configuration is messed up because big parts of the desktop effects are work in progress. Please start gconf-editor and ensure you got the following keys set correctly:

/apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/hsize: 4
/apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/number_of_desktops: 1
