Ubuntu Version upgrade

Asked by Rinus Dekker

I run a dual boot system for Win xp and Ubutu.
Almost always I use Ubuntu for it runs so much better.
I upgraded from version 8.04.1 to 8.10 and then to version 9.04.
However when the computer boots it still shows ubuntu version 8.04.1
Do I need to change menu.lst? If so what should the syntax look like?
Thanks, Rinus

Just open terminal and run "sudo apt-get autoremove" without quotation marks and it should remove anything that isnt needed.

Hope that helps
Shane
