How do I stop a printer when it's in the middle of a job?

Asked by martynsullivan

Due to my error, if I have asked the printer to print and then want to stop it before it's finished the task, how do I stop it from printing further and so end the print run?

When you are printing something a printer-icon is coming up in the information-panel (usually in the upper right corner).
Click on that icon and you will see the actual printing-tasks. There you can advise the printer to stop the job.

Greetings.

Or just power of the printer to save paper. It will spit out the last page after you power it back on.

Maybe the printer has a button to kill the job.
