Keyboard and mouse stopped working after kernel update

Asked by Johan Benschop

I installed on my parents laptop seLinux and did an update afterwards. Only after the reboot any control via mouse and keyboard stopped, the led indicator for the caps lock is going on and off. I booted into a previous kernel and they just worked fine. The only way for me to shutdown the laptop is by using the cold shutdown :\ How can I fix this problem?

Never mind, I fixed it. I just uninstalled the selinux package and it worked, next time I think before installing it and then a kernel update :)
