E: The package secondlife-install needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.
E: Internal error opening cache (1). Please report.

This is the error report on my synaptic package manager when I attempted to log in. Think cos earlier in the day I tried downloading the secondlife-install package and the comp hanged, and I illegally shut down my comp.

Please run:

sudo dpkg --force-remove-reinstreq --remove secondlife-install

in terminal (Applications->Accessories). This will remove the corrupt package, so you will be able to reinstall it.
