How do i install my logitech quickcam v11.8 on kubuntu??

Well i have and webcam and i want to install it but i dont know how to do this on kubuntu...
im new to kubuntu and ubuntu and i have an logitech quickcam v11.8. i have the software cd but its only for windows xp and vista....so can someone tell me how to do this step by step...and have alot of details because i dont know ubuntu/
