Can't play apps on myspace or upload sites without it closing on me in middle of session

Asked by KusHEAD

Everytime I get online I click on Firefox web browser icon. it loads up Ubuntu homepage.
Then I type in URL: www.myspace.com... It takes me to the page and I am able to log in...
I click in box or apps I lose my session... and it is very disappointed moments because I be in middle of things when it closes on me... then a little message comes up saying:

Firefox - Restore Previous Session
Your last Firefox closed unexpectedly. You can restore the tabs and windows from your previous session, or start new session if you think the problem was related to a page you were viewing.

Then it ask either I start new session or restore previous session...

NO matter which I click on... it's bound to close my session again when I get back online to my page... on certain sites it closes on me unexpectedly but mostly on MYspace when I play apps...

I search and try to figure out what is wrong with my Firefox but I have no hope and hoping that someone out there had this problem with their computer when getting on certain pages while online.
I don't know what's going on and hoping someone have the answers for this kind of annoying problem... All I do mostly is play apps on my space and I can't do that if it keep closing my session every time I get on them...
Will someone give me some answers on this and I appreciate every help.... to get this thing straight...

Thanks everyone 4 all the help on this issue I have on my computer....

Why not change the homepage in Firefox?

Open Firefox, go to "Edit" and then "Preferences", open the "Main" tab and into the field where it says "Home Page" type the address of your browser - http://www.google.com.au (if you are in Australia). Then click on "Use current page".

Well, KusHEAD the point is that your Firefox crashed due to some internal processing failure. This is probably related to some mm-plugin problem which (even worse) was caused during the execution of the same code again and again.

Unfortunately I don't know these MySpace applications. I assume though they're a combination of primitive scripts and maybe some Java. I (earlier) also notices flash content being on some of these profile pages. Think you'd update your distributions packets and Firefox at first. Next choose an alternative flash-plugin (v10) via Synaptic not the nonfree (v9) thing.

If everything else fails check your Java runtime environment or have a look at your logs (/var/logs/).

Aquina can u explain more on exactly details of how I update my distributions packers and FIrefox... Where I find a alt. flash-plugin (v10) via synaptic... thanks for the help because I kinda new to trying to fix this and I need all the details on how 2 get it done... Hopefully when all done.. everything will work on myspace or any other pages I get on without being close out in a session....
