Can not connect to wireless g network, but can to a /n network

Asked by NewUbuntu

I have installed Ubuntu 9.02 Netbook Remix on a Dell Mini 10V (upgraded by Dell to the 1510 wireless mini card). It is supposed to work on b/g/n networks, but only will connect to the /n networks. I have a /g network at home that I have been unsuccessful at getting to work. I searched launchpad, with no luck on this question. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Dear NewUbuntu,

I would report a bug about this and wait for the comments on it.

To report a bug about this run the command 'ubuntu-bug linux' while you're online.

Since this command sends out the relevant log files, please have the system try to connect to the g network and fail before you run the command so that the logs will contain the relevant information.

Many blessings.

I reinstalled windows xp, to see if it was truly an Ubuntu problem. Turns out it has the same issues in that OS as well. So I'm sending it back. Only had it for a few days.
