Ubuntu

I need to know how to install Xubuntu on my MacBook.

I downloaded Xubuntu 8.04.1 on my MacBook, but know I am finding my self dumb. I can not seem to install it. Can some one please help me do so?

You need to burn it to CD (see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto for details) and then boot the macbook from the CD by rebooting with the CD in the drive and holding down the c key which should boot from the CD rather than from your hard drive.

When Ubuntu loads, there is an icon on the desktop that will allow you to install it.
