I experienced the same with Celestia. I can tell you it's most likely a problem with your graphics adapter. Would you provide us with the adapter model and an output of "uname -a" (from a shell), please?

Well these programms differ in functionality but don't when it comes to graphics. Think you'd open a shell though and enter "uname -a" and afterwards "lspci" and provide us with theoutput then. Thats it! ;-)

Unfortunately I do not have the powers to change the state of this question to SOLVED, EXPIRED or INVALID. Someone here at Launchpad either grant me that permission or simply apply the change in state to this question, please.

Can you help with this problem?
