error 5 on install

Am trying to install ubuntu's current version and came up with error 5, I've used the same cd live disk to install on my laptop, all good installed sweetly.... However when I tried to install on my desktop system thats when It's start playing up with error 5. am stomp can any body help?!

I checked for virus protection in "BIOS" all normal

type cat /proc/partitions
 in the terminal and came out with this!!!
