Deluge plus ktorrent

Hello
I would love to know why the download speed is very low in Deluge and ktorrent while the speed is considerably much higher while downloading Miro podcasts??And can I how can I change this situation!?

They implement the torrent protocol differently so may get different speeds. Are you constraining the app in any way wit regards to speed. Ktorrent has a lovely speed scheduler so if you want your torrents at full whack while you are at work and restricted when you are home so online gaming and web browsing are more reactive you can set this up. Torrents are dependant on the speed your peers will give you. If you are downloading from a server dedicated to file sharing (like the pod casts) then this can potentially be faster than torrenting a file, although with large files and large uptake, torrents will be faster due to multiple uploaders.
