There is no timemachine apps in ubuntu !

I'm looking forward a simple and efficient apps which could perform backup and restore as simple as Macos Timemachine. I don't know if the ext3/4 file system can support this kind of tool but I could be a very useful feature in a next release of ubuntu !

there are some possibilites like rsync, timevault, sbackup but I found no solution as good and simple as timemachine.
