matlab uninstall

Asked by Vikram Dhillon

Hello folks,
I have matlab 2008b but during the installation I made a critical mistake, I set the matlabroot to be /home/vikram and left it like that so I can't remove matlab because in doing so it will remove everything I have in my home directory. I know I made a big mistake, can you guys help me??? My matlab also works quite clumsy and I found other opensource alternatives that work perfect but now I need to get rid of matlab because it takes a lot of space and still does me no good. Any help will be greatly appereciated.

Vikram
