Acer Timeline Touchpad ?

Touchpad switch on Acer Timeline shuts the touchpad off, but it cannot be activated again without a reboot. Can this be corrected to where the TTouchpad switch will turn the touchpad off and on?

Suspending and resuming turns the touchpad back on (for me), whether or not the button is enabled when you suspend. If it's on when you suspend, the touchpad is re-enabled on resume -- pressing it twice (off, on) will re-disable the touchpad. If it is off when you suspend, it stays off (and the touchpad is re-enabled) on resume.
