Which operating system do you have installed?

If you have Windows installed already and want to install VirtualBox to have a virtual Ubuntu, then ask a windows forum. :)

If you have Ubuntu installed, then check out:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VirtualBox/Installation
http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads
Scroll down past the d/l links to use the package manager for install & updates.
This is much easier than d/l'ing the *.deb everytime.
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VirtualBox/FirstVM

All those links can be found from:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VirtualBox

If you want USB support in your virtual machines, then DO NOT use the ose version, use the free, proprietary version.

P.S. - A simple google search of "virtualbox ubuntu" brings up the community documentation as the first link. Google is your friend!

Also, be sure to install the Guest Additions as soon as you get your virtual machine booted up (before updating the OS or anything; seriously, do it first - makes it much, much faster and friendlier).

Can you help with this problem?
