what a kubuntu

i was using ubuntu, but while updating it accidently turned into kubuntu and it does not work as they ask to change the screen revolution.................. help me quickly. i do not want Kubuntu

Boot in recovery mode and enter the following at a command prompt:

   sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

If you don't know how to do this, post again, and someone will provide more detailed instructions.
