Facebook FarmTown won't load in Ubuntu

Asked by Bob Z

Farmtown is a flash application in Facegook. I have updated Flash several times with no effect. Is it FireFox browser rather than Ubuntu? Should I try a different browser? Or is there something else I'm missing? Thanks, Bob

I have tried 2 other browsers and no difference. The "Loading" dialog just flashes quickly and doesn't load the app. Bob

If its a PlayFish app, they don't work. My system works 100% but I have never had the app work.

One way you could do it (bloat) you can run a virtualbox in seamless mode and run something like xp. You will then be able to run a browser in that and it will work. Bit of a runaround for a game but it CAN be done.

I guess that answers my question. Thanks. I'll just boot up XP to play the game. No problem. Thanks again.
