How do I rip music on Ubuntu 9.04?

Asked by Melinda

Also when I burn a CD, I'm only able to hear on the computer, or a dvd player. I can't hear it in the car, house stereo. I used Brasero to burn the cd. Thanks!

If you like burn an audio CD that will work on any CD player you must not just burn your audio files on CD instead you need to tell Brasero to create an Audio CD project. Details how to add your files to the CD will be show afterwards.

There are many options to rip audio CD under Ubuntu. One easy to use tools is Sound Juicer. To install it run:
sudo apt-get install sound-juicer
