How to create an iso multisession cd/dvd?

Asked by Captain Fineweather

Hello,
I installed k3b on Intrepid instead of brasero and it works fine, but trouble is, I can't find
the settings for cd/dvd iso multisession, which would be fine for creating linux distro live cds/dvds.
Is there any way to configure this feature in k3b ? Perhaps via shell?

Thanks in advance,

Frank

There is a discussion about this at http://mandrivausers.org/index.php?showtopic=18628&hl=multisession, maybe that helps.

The document at http://www.theblackpawn.com/step-by-step-tutorial-to-burn-a-multisession-cd-in-linux.php is for a different Linux distribution, but could still be useful for the general steps in k3b.

Thanks for your reply,

meanwhile I found out that multisession-isoCD is possible with literally any burning program but only
multisession-isoDVD is mostly not provided. But just for playing around, a multisession-isoCD of a distro like Puppy or DSL is sufficient. Thus, I mark this as solved.

Have a nice weekend!

sincerely,
Frank
