How can I save the changes in qtconfig-qt4?

Asked by zasq

Hi,
for some reason, when I make changes in qtconfig-qt4 (system>preferences>qt4 preferences) they are not changed. As soon as I restart the laptop, they are gone. For example, I have changed the background color of the tooltips to a light grey with gnome-color-chooser. The tooltip of Skype of course is still yellow, as it is a qt-app. Now, if I open qtconfig-qt4 and save the gtk+ style, the skype tooltip will turn to the grey color I chose in gnome. I would like to save this change. But after restart, it is gone again. Maybe it is a problem with the rights? Which is the file the qt-color-configuration is saved in? Is it a bug or is there a way to have all tooltips of the same color?
Thank you!

qt is a KDE package, it seems to have a wide range of quirky problems in gnome. If you are running a bunch of qt apps I suggest checking out kubuntu. If not then try submitting this as a bug.

Can you help with this problem?
