Is there a way that i can make ubuntu start up

i am dual booting windows xp and ubuntu, and im tired of turning on my computer and having to choose from both. is there a way to automatically start ubuntu when i turn on my computer?

Did you install Ubuntu using Wui or on it's own partition?

Just in case that link doesn't work for you, here is a quote:

"Ubuntu is not installed as the default boot option, you have to
select it in the windows boot menu. To change that, in windows XP go
to control_panel > system > advanced > startup_and_recovery and edit
the "Default Operating System", if you want you can change the timeout

Ok. To change your default boot option you need to do in from inside
Windows. Directions can be found here:
