I downloaded and installed mc, but it doesn't works correctly! (when i don't using X). The rows were deposed and when i move cursor down i dont see a string! (I'm sorry, but i's very hard describe to the problem)

try 'mc -a'. your system is propably set to use an UTF8-based locale. mc has some troubles with UTF8, especially on the console. if you start mc with the '-a' option, it does not try to use any but 7bit ascii characters for its display which should solve your problem.
